Katy Brownley

Katy Brownley is the Program Manager for Supplier Connection at IBM where she oversees all aspects of the imitative. Supplier Connection is an initiative that makes it easier for small businesses to become visible to the procurement teams of its 17 large company members – with the ultimate goal of fueling economic growth and job creation in the United States. Prior to this role, she was responsible for the sourcing strategy of the Business Transformation Outsourcing brand with approximately $2.5B in Revenue and $1B in annual spend.

Katy started with IBM in 2002 as part of the Supply Chain Leadership Program and has since been a Procurement contract specialist, Project Manager for software development and a Team Lead in Finance for Corporate Audit.

Katy graduated from The Ohio State University’s MBA program in June 2002. Prior to receiving her MBA from Fisher, Katy graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA®) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP®).

Katy has served on the Fisher College of Business Alumni Board since 2002. She is married to David Brownley, another Fisher MBA graduate, and they reside in Hudson with their two kids.
