Dipan Karumsi

Dipan Karumsi is currently a Senior Manager/Director at KPMG within their Advisory Services practice. He has more than 12 years of industry and management consulting experience and has helped organizations develop corporate strategies and undertake complex operational improvement initiatives in the areas of: Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Business Process Outsourcing, and Supply Chain Strategy and Operations Improvement. He has substantial experience leading and coordinating engagements and has had the opportunity to serve many Fortune 500 and multi-national corporations in a variety of industries.

In his current role he is responsible for defining and implementing strategic supply chain solutions, managing engagements, defining new engagement opportunities, and providing thought leadership through publications and articles.

Prior to KPMG, Mr. Karumsi was a Director with Archstone Consulting within their Strategy & Operations practice, and previous to that held a number of management roles within IBM’s Integrated Supply Chain and Global Business Services divisions. Mr. Karumsi also has an industry background and worked with Abercrombie & Fitch in their Import/Logistics department helping to manage the retail complexities involved in sourcing and importation.

Mr. Karumsi received his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University in Management and Logistics, and completed his MBA in Finance at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business in 2002. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute, a Licensed Customs Broker with US Customs, and has also earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University.

He has been an active OSU Fisher College of Business Alumni Board member since 2002, where he is a member of the recruiting committee and participates in the Fisher mentor program.
